The starting point
The practice’s first website dated from 2015 and served it well for ten years. It was never thin — quite the opposite: very extensive, very detailed, full of specialist dental knowledge. And that was exactly the problem.
What had changed in the meantime was not the technology but the range of services. Today the practice offers treatments that patients actively search for and compare before they call — Invisalign, for example. People searching like that don’t need a treatise; they need an answer to their own question: is this an option for me, how does it work, what does it mean for my everyday life?
The impetus came from both directions: the new services, and the wish to have a website that reflects where the practice stands today after ten years.
The brief
- Rebuild the website without losing the content that had grown over the years
- Adapt the tone and text to the practice’s current range of services
- Organise the existing specialist knowledge so that patients can actually read it
- Give the most important treatments their own pages
- Run the entire website in German and English
What we did
A second generation, not a fresh start
A relaunch after ten years is not a new build on an empty plot. There is content that has grown over time, established routines, and addresses that sit in search engines and in patients’ bookmarks. We rebuilt the website and carried over every existing address, so that nobody ends up at a dead end — neither a patient nor Google.
The advantage: if you’ve looked after a website since 2015, you know which pages are actually visited and which just take up space in the menu.
One landing page per treatment, not one page for everything
The most visible difference from the old website is the treatment pages. Take Invisalign, the invisible teeth straightening: the specialist knowledge hasn’t disappeared, it has been sorted. A dedicated page with the process in three phases, an overview of the misalignments that can be corrected this way, frequently asked questions with answers — and seven videos in which patients talk about their treatment.
This page answers the questions people have before they call. Once they’ve read it, they no longer call to get information, but to make an appointment.
Two languages, two domains
The website is fully bilingual: the German version at familien-zahnarzt-baar.ch, the English one at dentist-baar.ch — each language at its own address that makes sense on its own.
So that search engines don’t treat the two as competing sites, the language versions point to each other, page by page, right down to each individual treatment page. It’s the kind of work you only notice when it’s missing.

The result
The website has been online since January 2026, fully in two languages, with dedicated pages for the most important treatments. The Invisalign page alone brings together the process, a catalogue of misalignments, seven patient videos and a Q&A section at a single address. For ongoing operation, a maintenance contract is in place — updates, backups, availability checks.
Client testimonial
